Connecting Regional Co-operation and EU-Programmes for the Pre-Accession Strategy

On June 12, 1998, the BSSSC conducted a workshop in Brussels on the role of the Subregions in the Pre-Accession Strategy. At the workshop both regional representatives from Eastern and Western Europe met with representatives of the European Commission. The "Connecting..."-document was published as a pre-conference report.

BSSSC Consultation Process

In the spring of 1999 the BSSSC conducted a consultation process with the subregions of the Baltic Sea area. This report sums up the results of the consultation process and gives perspectives for the future subregional cooperation in the Baltic Sea area.

The Baltic Sea Subregions & Pre-Accession

In February 1999, The BSSSC established an ad hoc Working Group to deal with the EU enlargement and the role of the subregional level. This report represents the results of the work of the working group.
