BSSSC Alumni meeting: Shaping the Future of BSSSC: Focus, Priorities & Impact

The BSSSC online meeting will draw on over three decades of regional cooperation to discuss the organisation’s future direction. The conversation will focus on BSSSC’s unique role, areas of greatest impact, and core priorities for the years ahead.

About the event
On 4 September 2026, BSSSC will hold an online Alumni meeting dedicated to shaping the organisation’s future direction, priorities and impact.
Drawing on more than three decades of regional cooperation, the meeting will provide an opportunity to reflect on BSSSC’s achievements and lessons from previous years, as well as what makes the organisation unique in the Baltic Sea Region.
The discussion will look ahead: Where should BSSSC sharpen its focus? What should its three core priorities be? And where can the organisation make the greatest impact? Participants will also discuss how to prioritise the current BSSSC Work Plan and identify the next steps for the network.
The programme will conclude with a strategic reflection on the future of pan-Baltic organisations towards 2040.
The meeting will be moderated by BSSSC Chair Inese Suija-Markova.
