15th BSSSC Annual Conference

The 15th Annual Conference of the Baltic Sea States Subregional cooperation (BSSSC) took place in Turku, Finland on 13-14 September 2007 and was hosted by the Regional Council of Southwest Finland. The BSSSC Annual Conference brought together almost 300 people from the Baltic Sea Region who discussed the important issue of Sustainable Energy and possible contribution to meet the threats of Climate Change. 

Many meetings took place during the conference, and the event become a success. In addition 40 youth representatives from the BSSSC Youth Working Group actively participated in discussions at the Conference and had their own Youth meetings. The conference also included parallel sessions on different aspects of Sustainable Energy and best practise examples. BSSSC is convinced that actions taken at local and regional level make a difference, and that was also the immediate feed-back from the conference participants.
